Stochastic Modeling of Predator Movements with L´evy Flight Processes

This study uses mathematical modeling to compare predator movement in air, sea and grassland habitats with kernel density estimation and L´evy flight models. The results show that mathematical methods can reflect patterns in animal behavior and highlight the impact of the environment on movement.
